SMART

SMART’s main features are:
-
Easy-to-use browser-based administration application and database
-
Allows set up and control of users’ IDs and entitlements
-
Records services accessed, when and how often, for each individual user
-
Provides detailed reports based on usage, sorted by user or by service
SMART is available free-of-charge with any subscription to the MarketMap terminal. It offers efficiency, visibility and transparency over entitlement and reporting and helps clients maintain a tight control over their market data costs. SMART ensures that users access only those services and market data to which they are entitled. SMART optimizes expenditure by reporting usage levels on demand and providing real time data cost monitoring (see image below). The SMART master files are held at the data center but the relevant subscriber information is locally cached for clients that have a site server, which greatly enhances line usage and performance.
SMART also provides exchange reporting and numerous other statistics (at both client and user level) and gives detailed information concerning connectivity over time, such as the number and cost of unused accesses for a given month.
